About the RO eFactura in SAP
The “E-invoice – mandatory electronic invoicing system” project was started in March 2020 by the Ministry of Finance and the National Fiscal Administration Agency, in order to streamline the collection of taxes and fees. eFactura becomes Obligatory – From January 1, 2024

First, companies must ensure that they are registered within the ANAF, SPV service. After that, the economic operators can use the SPV credentials to use the national electronic invoicing system.
The means of electronic identification for accessing the SPV are:
Interconnection of the available application, at the recipient level, with the RO e-Invoice system, using a series of microservices exposed in the form of an API (Application Programming Interface);
The use of the applications made available, free of charge, by the MF.
— How can the RO e-Invoice system be accessed?
The existence of such an electronic public service, such as RO eFactura, allows the transparent performance of public procurement contracts and, at the same time, of those between economic operators.
Moreover, by implementing the electronic invoicing system, the time for sending invoices is reduced, the data is validated at the time of sending, and the issuer receives delivery confirmation, which makes the process efficient and precise. The whole process is fast and the invoice is delivered on time.
